MHT-CET

The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam :Engineering and Pharmacy for the academic year 2018-19.MH-CET-2018 is conducted to offer admission to B.E/B.Tech and B.pharm courses in all the participating Govt./Govt. aided and private colleges.

  • The test is conducted in offline mode
  • The paper will be conducted for 90 minutes
  • The medium is English, Marathi and Urdu
  • MH CET will comprise of three papers, each of 100 marks.
  • MHT CET will comprise objective type questions.
  • MHT CET syllabus is based on syllabi covered in 10+2 examination of HSC Board of Maharashtra.

Important Instructions

MHT CET is a pen paper based test. Candidates will be provided with OMR answer sheets with each question paper. At the end of each paper, candidate must hand over the OMR Answer sheet to the invigilator. Candidates are permitted to take the Question Booklet outside the exam centre. The candidates are required to mark the correct answer by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question in the answer sheet with black ballpoint pen only.

Following are some instructions to follow while answering on OMR sheet.

  • Candidate should not use any other method for answering in OMR sheet like Half circle, tick mark, or cross etc. This may not be read by the machine.
  • The candidates must fully satisfy themselves about the accuracy of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle, as no change in the answer once marked is allowed.
  • Answer sheet will be evaluated by computerized scanning method only. So, candidates should completely darken one and the only one best response (circle).
  • Please do not fold the OMR sheet and do not make any stray marks on it.
